Two Windows
The one-meter gap between the Two Windows hints at the international atmosphere in recent years is as tight as musical string, including Brexit, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, and the unhealed Israeli- Palestinian relationship. Individual life is always like this. people and people, people and society, people and their ideals are always some distance, we always wishful thinking with a lifetime to make up for these distances. I hope these two small Windows, one meter distance give us more guess, more efforts, enrich this short illusory life.

The inspiration comes from Joe Meek's song of the same name. I had this song playing in my headphones when I found these telephones in the roadside garbage. At that time, I seemed to see that the era of mono was abandoned — the era of analog，the childhood of music. So I picked them all up, laid them out on the side of the road and photographed them.

The Flight Trilogy continues the sky theme of Happily Major Chord. I. To Kill a Mockingbird is a sculpture made with Instruments, and This is Icarus in my heart. He's being tortured , But even die is in the sky. II. Golden Apple and Diver, This work is about dreams, Sometimes flying in dreams is swimming, apple is a metaphor, diver is a bird without wings, the ocean is the sky to dive into, and a diver passes through desire. III. Another Way to Pay Tribute, There are many such sculptures in London. It's a very solemn feeling. It's sacred. But the landing of this pigeon gives a lightness in the face of greatness. This bird may be the freedom of people's heart. or maybe it's another way of pay tribute.

A reenactment of jet lag, a musical ambience installation. I made a sound loop, which is built into the luggage. When you push it along, the sound will be triggered and played through the headset. Walk with it and et into each person's different jet lag feelings.

Play a plinth
Play a plinth, turn it into a musical instrument, and people who come to see the exhibition can play it at will. Perhaps a trance in the exhibition space. I wonder what else a plinth can do besides display your work, and the possibility of a work in a white space. Just like in the book Inside the White Cube. The breaking of sympathetic magic, White Cube offers us a glimpse of false permanence.

Happily Major Chord
Happily Major Chord, which mainly uses pigeons and whistles. In Beijing, it is the local custom for people to equip domestic pigeons with whistles. Appreciating the whistles is also the collective memory of generations. The traditional whistle has only one pitch frequency. I transformed the whistles into Do, Mi , So according to the interval relationship, and put them on the pigeons in groups, as well as the homing ability of the pigeons, traveling to and from Jing Shan and the Forbidden City. This way, you can see a C major fly in the sky.
